Terms of use
About Iqra AI
Iqra AI is a free AI-powered Quranic learning application provided by the Iqra AI Foundation. By using the app or this website you agree to these terms.
Use of the app
- You agree to use the app for personal, non-commercial Quranic study.
- You will not attempt to disrupt the service, scrape AI-generated content for resale, or use the API endpoints in violation of fair-use rate limits.
- You will not use the AI Tafseer or word-analysis features to misrepresent Iqra AI's output as scholarly opinion or as a substitute for qualified instruction.
AI-generated content
Iqra AI uses Google Gemini to generate Tafseer, keywords, word-by-word breakdowns and word analyses. We make best efforts to ground these in classical sources (Ibn Kathir, Al-Jalalayn, At-Tabari) and to cross-check Quranic text against authoritative APIs, but AI output can contain errors. Always corroborate important religious or linguistic questions with a qualified human teacher.
Accounts
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials safe. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service. You can delete your account at any time by contacting support@iqraapp.ai.
Intellectual property
Quranic Arabic text is in the public domain. Translations are used under their respective permissions (Sahih International, Diyanet, Hamidullah, Abu Rida, Cortés). The Iqra AI application code, branding and AI-generated content are owned by the Iqra AI Foundation.
Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. The Iqra AI Foundation is not liable for any damages arising from use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data, missed AI features during outages, or interpretive disagreements with AI-generated content.
